Ni Hadi Xa

Ni Hadi Xa is the oversight body for the Gahcho Kue mine. They work with seven signatories includuding; Deninu Kué First Nation, Lutsél K’e Dene First Nation, North Slave Métis Alliance, Northwest Territories Métis Nation, the Tłı̨chǫ Government and De Beers Canada.

For their first three years in operation, we created an annual report that effectively communicated activities with stakeholders across the Northwest Territories. Soaring Tortoise created a design and layout that focused on the natural beauty of the area as a reminder of the organizations main goals. For the second annual report (2016), we provided cover photography. This image reminds us of the beauty present in small details on the land.

Working with Jazmine on the Ni Hadi Xa Annual reports, met not only the informational goals, but did so in a way that was intuitive and aesthetically appealing.
