Association franco-culturelle de Yellowknife
For their 25th anniversary gala, Association franco-culturelle de Yellowknife (AFCY) published Histoire de Histoire. The book is a poetic interpretation of Francophone history in the north. Topics cover mining, voyageurs and the first Francophone radio station. We created four watercolour illustrations interpreting the written work. Soaring Tortoise also designed the layout of the book.
We have been in business with the AFCY since 2010. Over the years we've designed a variety of promotional material for community events including the Festival Miroir, la Cabanes a Sucre, music shows at the Snow King Festival, Mediterranean Night, Saint-Jean-Baptiste day and others. We've also helped the AFCY with books ( Visages au féminins ) banners, business cards, brochures, posters and newspaper advertisements.
